A Big clash this week-end – Leicester City looking to make history at Old Trafford by winning their first Premier League title, meanwhile the Red Devils are convinced on postponing the party for the next week.
Leicester will travel to Manchester , trying to clinch the Premier League title in a great way at Old Trafford, after an outstanding season , considered as the most remarkable season that English football has ever seen.
The Foxes started the season as relegation favourites and as underdogs they’ve reached the top of the English football, trying to secure the Premier League title at the theatre of dreams “Old Trafford” – the ground that have won the most Premier League title in history.
Leicester City are travelling to Manchester without their key striker Jamie Vardy, as the 29 years old got another match ban for his reaction after the red card he received vs West Ham.
Last week the Foxes won against Swansea City as the PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring before Ulloa scored his brace and Marc Albrighton scored his first goal of the season, which secured to Leicester a 4-0 , their biggest win of the season.
Two other records were set from the Foxes last week, as they extended their unbeated run to 9 games and reaching 22 wins in a Premier League season. Great news a day later for Leicester Fans, as Tottenham Hotspur failed to win against West Brom, which enhanced the Foxes chances to win the title.
As mentioned before Ulloa will replace Jamie Vardy once again, meanwhile Albrighton may return to the starting lineup after being benched last week for Jeffrey Schlup.
On the other side, it’s not a fairy tale for Manchester United. The Reds started the season as title contenders, but right now they’re hoping for a top4. The Foxes have been hailing Claudio Ranieri all the season, on the other side the Reds have been blaming Van Gaal’s playing style as slow and annoying.
Following the Arsenal poor form recently, The Reds will attempt to postpone Leicester’s party as they still stand a chance to reach the top 4. The Gunners are +5 points from United, but they also have played 1 match more than the Reds.
Manchester United are running on a good form of results, despite facing easy opponents. They’ve beaten Aston Villa and Crystal Palace on the league, also they’ve beaten West Ham in FA Cup quarter finals , and 1 week earlier Everton with a last minute winner from Anthony Martial which has sent them to the FA Cup final. The Reds will face Crystal Palace on 21th May for the only trophy they’re fight for.
Returning to this week-end clash : United will be without Schweinsteiger, Luke Shaw and Januzaj which are long-term absentees. Meanwhile Schneiderlin, Juan Mata and Herrera might step up for the starting line up after being left out last week-end vs Everton.
