Manchester United told to pay £44 million for Croatian International

Serie A club Inter Milan have reportedly told Manchester United to pay £44 million if they want to sign Ivan Perisic, according to Sky Italy.

The Red Devils have reportedly had an improved bid rejected, as new Inter Boss Luciano Spaletti is keen to keep the 28 year old at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium if their £44 million valuation is not met.

The Croatian joined the Nerazzurri from Wolfsburg in 2015 and notched 11 goals and assisted 8 times in Serie A in the just concluded campaign, and has three years left on his current contract.

Perisic is a strong, old fashioned, industrious, tenacious, lightning quick, two footed winger who is an excellent crosser of the ball and strong in the air as well- attributes which have no doubt caught the eye of Jose Mourinho and Man United.
